Stephen Skaggs 
Stephen was born in 1813 in Hardin County, Kentucky.1 Stephen's father was James Skaggs and his mother was Hannah Holbrook. His paternal grandparents were Henry Skaggs and Berry (Nannie) Skaggs. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Henry, Jesse, James, Jane and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 87 in 1900.2 -
