Robert Benjamin was born on July 26th, 1894 in Rockingham Co, NC. Robert Benjamin's father was James Winston Sims and his mother was Catherine Eliza Roberts. His maternal grandparents were James Dutch Roberts and Nancy Jane Sneed. He had a brother and a sister, named Everett Percy and Lennie. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 74 on October 7th, 1968 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on October 9th, 1968 in Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
