Rachel Elizabeth Simmons 
Rachel Elizabeth was born on November 15th, 1858 in , Orange, Texas. Rachel Elizabeth's father was Daniel Henry Simmons and her mother was Susanah Jemima Harris. Her maternal grandparents were Victor Nely Harris and Nancy Ann Netterville. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named William Nely, Thomas Henry, Charles Netterville, Daniel Ethen, Ann Sarah, Susannah Jemima (or Martha Rebecca), Martha Rebecca, Mary (or Sarah) Jane, Amanda Jane, Susanah Samantha, Henrieta Virginia and Victoria Aurelia. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 57 on March 5th, 1916 in , Orange, Texas. She was buried in Orange, Harris Cemetery, Texas.-
