Powell Tandy Shockley 
Powell Tandy was born on October 7th, 1902 in Van Buren Co, TN. Powell Tandy's father was James Monroe Shockley and his mother was Eva Lee Simmons. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Knox Simmons and Susan M. Ramsey. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Fred Ethelbert, Beauford Curtis, Virginia Belle and Bertha Jewell. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 90 in March 1993 in Sparta, White Co, TN.General Notes
