Fred Ethelbert Shockley 
Fred Ethelbert was born on September 18th, 1906 in Van Buren Co, TN. Fred Ethelbert's father was James Monroe Shockley and his mother was Eva Lee Simmons. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Knox Simmons and Susan M. Ramsey. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Powell Tandy, Beauford Curtis, Virginia Belle and Bertha Jewell. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 29 on May 3rd, 1936. He was buried in Fraziers Chapel Cemetery, White Co, TN.General Notes
