Cicely Shirley 
Cicely was born in 1570 in Westneston, Sussex, England. Cicely's father was Thomas Shirley and her mother was Anne Kempe dau of Sir Thomas Kempe of Wye by Catherine Chenye. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Kempe and Cecily Katherine Cheyney. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Anthony, Robert, Isabel, Maria, Elizabeth (Margaret), Cecily, Jane and Anne. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 92 on July 31st, 1662 in Southampton, England, Great Britain.General Notes
