Benjamin Franklin Scruggs 
Benjamin Franklin was born in November 1868 in Willow Springs, Fayette Co, Texas, USA. Benjamin Franklin's father was James K Polk Scruggs and his mother was Mary Frances Pinkerton. His maternal grandparents were David Alexander Pinkerton and Rebecca Akin. He had three sisters named Rebecca Leona, Minerva and Jimmie Flora. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Albert Green and Myrtie. He died at the age of 74 in 1942. He was buried in Block 11, Lot 16, Willow Cemetery, Haskell, Haskell Co, Texas, USA.-
