Willie Boyd Roberts 
Willie Boyd was born on August 10th, 1885 in Rockingham Co, NC. Willie Boyd's father was Adolphus Douglas Roberts and his mother was Mary Jane Green. His paternal grandparents were James Dutch Roberts and Nancy Jane Sneed. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Shields Smith, Fletcher Henderson, Harvey, Edna Clarence, Sallie B. and Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Gray. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Adolphus Douglas, Annie Mae and Hazel. He died at the age of 80 on September 15th, 1965 in Spray, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on September 17th, 1965 in Lawson Cemetery, Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
