Thomas Pinkney was born on November 27th, 1876 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Thomas Pinkney's father was James M. Roberts and his mother was Ann Elizabeth Roberts. His paternal grandparents were John R. Roberts and Jane Unknown; his maternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Mary Webster. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Samuel J., John M. and Mollie. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 52 on December 26th, 1928 in Pitt Co, NC.1 General Notes
