Joe William Roberts 
Joe William was born on October 10th, 1899 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Joe William's father was Joseph Young Roberts and his mother was Virginia Carter Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Roberts and Lutisha T. Hopper. He had six brothers and a sister, named Emmett Wilson, John H., Fredrick Anderson, Carl, Everett Oliver, Marvin Wesley and Alma Day. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 in February 1971 in Mc Kenney, Dinwiddie Co, VA.1 General Notes
