Emmett Wilson Roberts 
Emmett Wilson was born on August 28th, 1893 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Emmett Wilson's father was Joseph Young Roberts and his mother was Virginia Carter Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Roberts and Lutisha T. Hopper. He had six brothers and a sister, named John H., Fredrick Anderson, Joe William, Carl, Everett Oliver, Marvin Wesley and Alma Day. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 on March 12th, 1962 in Richmond, Richmond City, VA.1 General Notes
