David Thomas Roberts 
David Thomas was born on July 24th, 1883 in Orange Co, NC.1 David Thomas' father was William Raney 'Billy' Roberts and his mother was Mary Thomas Rountree. His paternal grandparents were David Roberts and Nancy Ann Hawkins. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Raney, John Vance, Jeff Lee, Clyde Taylor, Cora Elizabeth, Annie, Mary Ruth and Ora. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on September 28th, 1974 in Durham, Durham Co, NC. He was buried on September 30th, 1974 in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC.1 General Notes
