Clyde Taylor Roberts 
Clyde Taylor was born on December 4th, 1899 in Orange Co, NC.1 Clyde Taylor's father was William Raney 'Billy' Roberts and his mother was Mary Thomas Rountree. His paternal grandparents were David Roberts and Nancy Ann Hawkins. He had four brothers and four sisters, named David Thomas, William Raney, John Vance, Jeff Lee, Cora Elizabeth, Annie, Mary Ruth and Ora. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on July 3rd, 1987 in Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC. He was buried in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hillsborough, Orange Co, NC.1 General Notes
