Monroe Ray Jr. 
Monroe was born on February 17th, 1933 in Alamance Co, NC. Monroe's father was Monroe Ray and his mother was Hermia M. Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Ray and Nora S. Painter. He had a brother and a sister, named Raymond Herbert and Infant Daughter. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 64 on July 3rd, 1997 in Durham, Durham Co, NC.General Notes
