Nora Powell 
Nora was born on March 9th, 1888 in Rockingham Co, NC. Nora's father was James William Powell and her mother was Susan Frances Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert Lee, James Tracy, Thomas Weldon, Ruth Odie, Eva Gordon, Carrie Maude and Annie Bea. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 50 on January 6th, 1939 in Reidsville, Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried on January 8th, 1939 in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ellisboro, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
