John Fletcher Powell 
John Fletcher was born on August 15th, 1886 in Rockingham Co, NC. John Fletcher's father was John Walter Powell and his mother was Gillie Virginia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles Harris, James Wright, William P. and Etta Isabelle. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 83 on April 29th, 1970 in High Point, Forsyth Co, NC. He was buried on May 1st, 1970 in Stokesdale United Methodist Church Cemetery, Stokesdale, Guilford Co, NC.General Notes
