Charles Harris Powell 
Charles Harris was born on November 4th, 1880 in Rockingham Co, NC. Charles Harris' father was John Walter Powell and his mother was Gillie Virginia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Fletcher, James Wright, William P. and Etta Isabelle. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 62 on November 2nd, 1943 in Rudsville, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on November 4th, 1943 in Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery, Stokesdale, Guilford Co, NC.General Notes
