Lyla Measles 
Lyla's father was William Measles and her mother was Ethel Amanda Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were Abijah P. 'Bige' Simmons and Lodema Jane Grissom. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Clifford, Robert, Vivian Lois, Clata Ray, Wilene, Roberta Glennell and Elizabeth.General Notes
