Lillie Mae was born in April 1900 in Davie, North Carolina. Lillie Mae's father was Robert Lee McDaniel and her mother was Angeline Foster. Her maternal grandparents were James Foster and Mary Baxley. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Zachary L., Henry Joe, Thomas Edward, Charles Baxter, Alexander Franklin, Alex S, Isaac Ray, Robert Lee, Fallie Bell, Lola Odell, Bertha Lee, Zona Mertia, Mertie I and Rosa Bell. She was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children. She died at 4 months old on August 13th, 1900 in Shady Grove Township, Davie, North Carolina.-
