Irene Hoke Long 
Irene Hoke was born on December 30th, 1923 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. Irene Hoke's father was Oscar Robertus Long and her mother was Daisy Ella Carpenter. Her maternal grandparents were Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. She had six brothers named Edward Carpenter, Marcus Troy, Oscar Robertus, Benjamin Hoke, William Marion and Perry Anderson. She died at the age of 78 on January 9th, 2002.General Notes
