Doctor Smith Grogan 
Doctor Smith was born on October 25th, 1875.1 Doctor Smith's father was Constant T. Grogan and his mother was Frances Elizabeth Price. His maternal grandparents were William H. Price and Elizabeth Roberts. He had six brothers and a sister, named John Henry, Emilous Jackson, Otho King, Charles Canstant, Louie Price, Robert Fetizer and Nora Frances. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 on December 13th, 1953 in Madison, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried on December 14th, 1953 in Ayersville Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
