Preston S. Goforth 
Preston S. was born in 1851 in NC and his baptism took place in Census 1880. Preston S.'s father was George Goforth and his mother was Nancy Jane Houser. His maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Franklin, Henry Wright, Robert B. 'Rainer', James Marion, Amanda Harriet Elizabeth, Nancy Jane and Ellen S.. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 24 on September 7th, 1875.General Notes
