Nancy Jane Goforth 
Nancy Jane was born on February 17th, 1853 in Cleveland Co, NC. Nancy Jane's father was George Goforth and her mother was Nancy Jane Houser. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John Franklin, Henry Wright, Robert B. 'Rainer', James Marion, Preston S., Amanda Harriet Elizabeth and Ellen S.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 92 on November 4th, 1945 in Avery Co, NC.General Notes
