Merle Eugene Garton

Merle Eugene was born on December 9th, 1906.¹ Merle Eugene's father was Gilbert Hollister Garton and his mother was Lucy Lucinda Carter. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Garton and Mary Susan Shipley. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George R., Earnest Raymond, Helen Mae and Mary Lou. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 82 in June 1989.¹
