Helen Mae Garton

Helen Mae was born on February 9th, 1904.¹ Helen Mae's father was Gilbert Hollister Garton and her mother was Lucy Lucinda Carter. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Garton and Mary Susan Shipley. She had three brothers and a sister, named George R., Merle Eugene, Earnest Raymond and Mary Lou. She was the second oldest of the five children.
