William Foster

William was born in 1829.¹ William's father was James H. Foster and his mother was Nancy Monteith Jones. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Elizabeth Harris. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named David, James, Robert, John, Benjamin, Rufus, Joshua, Naomi, Jane, Nancy, Emily and Linzy. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.
