William Franklin Cox 
William Franklin was born on August 31st, 1875 in Henry Co, VA.1 William Franklin's father was Thomas Pinkney Cox and his mother was Martha Susan Joyce. His maternal grandparents were Martin James Joyce and Sarah Anne Roberts. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James Thomas, Baxter Snyder, Leonard Baylor, Warner Shultz, Infant Boy, Nannie Martin, Sallie Lou, Martha Dallas, Ruth C. and Minnie Lorene. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 88 on June 1st, 1964 in Danville, Danville (Independent City), VA.1 General Notes
