Ruth C. Cox 
Ruth C. was born on June 8th, 1873 in Henry Co, VA.1 Ruth C.'s father was Thomas Pinkney Cox and her mother was Martha Susan Joyce. Her maternal grandparents were Martin James Joyce and Sarah Anne Roberts. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William Franklin, James Thomas, Baxter Snyder, Leonard Baylor, Warner Shultz, Infant Boy, Nannie Martin, Sallie Lou, Martha Dallas and Minnie Lorene. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 37 in 1910.1 General Notes
