James Thomas Cox 
James Thomas was born on January 14th, 1878 in Henry Co, VA.1 James Thomas' father was Thomas Pinkney Cox and his mother was Martha Susan Joyce. His maternal grandparents were Martin James Joyce and Sarah Anne Roberts. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Franklin, Baxter Snyder, Leonard Baylor, Warner Shultz, Infant Boy, Nannie Martin, Sallie Lou, Martha Dallas, Ruth C. and Minnie Lorene. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on October 1st, 1947 in Pittsylvania Co, VA. He was buried in Cascade, Pittsylvania Co, VA.1 General Notes
