William Alexander Colclough Capt. 
William Alexander was born in 1839.1 William Alexander's father was John Ashby Colclough and his mother was Eliza McDonald. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Colclough Col. and Mrs. McCanley. He had five sisters named Musidora, Posthuma Fortunia Evelyn, Gertrude, Lenora Ida and Augusta. He had four half-brothers named Benjamin, John Ashby II, James Henry and George Washington. He died at the age of 30 on February 15th, 1869.1 General Notes
