John Ashby II Colclough 
John Ashby II was born on February 23rd, 1826.1 John Ashby II's father was John Ashby Colclough and his mother was Posthuma Davis. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Colclough Col. and Mrs. McCanley. He had three brothers named Benjamin, James Henry and George Washington. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named William Alexander, Musidora, Posthuma Fortunia Evelyn, Gertrude, Lenora Ida and Augusta. He died at the age of 23 on September 29th, 1849.1 General Notes
