Grizel Beaton 
Grizel was born about 1524 in Creich Castle, Fifeshire, Scotland. Grizel's father was John Beaton and her mother was Janet De La Haye. Her paternal grandparents were Sir David Bethune and Janet Duddingston. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, John, Archibald, Gavin, David, Elizabeth, Christian and Janet. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died on August 18th, 1579 in Dundee, Angusshire, Scotland.-
