Susan Frances Ashwell 
Susan Frances was born on August 25th, 1845 in Bedford Co, Va. Susan Frances' father was James "Meredith" ("Meredith") Ashwell and her mother was Sarah "Sally" Jane Ellis. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin C. Ellis and Tellitha Tabitha Mitchell. She had four brothers and five sisters, named "Bill" "Will" Ashwell, "Ben" Ashwell, "Ben" Ashwell, Carey Austin, Tellitha Emmaline, Sarah Jane, Juliann Matilda, Mary Elizabeth and Nancy Adeline. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 81 on December 25th, 1926 in Bedford Co, Va. She was buried in Bedford Co, Va.General Notes
