John Ellis I 
John was born in 1661 in Tuckahoe Creek, Henrico County, Virginia.1 John's father was David Ellis and his mother was Margaret. He had three brothers named Richard, Hezekiah and Edward. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 67 in 1728 in Goochland County, Virginia.1
