Aubrey Ashwell 
Aubrey was born on July 11th, 1879 in Bedford Co, Va. Aubrey's father was Carey Austin Ashwell and his mother was Frances West Howell. His paternal grandparents were James "Meredith" ("Meredith") Ashwell and Sarah "Sally" Jane Ellis. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Daniel L., Silas Pleasant, John William, Robert Austin, Alexander Austin, "Infant son", Victoria Catherine, Mary Matilda and Sophia Jane. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died on July 11th, 1879 in Bedford Co, Va. He was buried in Bedford Co, Va.General Notes
