She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Lawson, Ross Erath, Herman Pershing, Beedie Ray, Mary Coletta, Dorothy Nell and Sarah Rebecca. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 87 on September 15th, 1999 in Texarkana, Bowie Co, Texas, USA.-
