Laura Leslie Akin 
Laura Leslie was born on April 21st, 1878. Laura Leslie's father was Samuel Anderson Alfred Demadison Akin and her mother was Mary Alice Walker. Her paternal grandparents were George Jefferson Akin and Clorinda Bybee. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Charlie Jefferson, Archie Henry, Elliot Washington, Leonard Alonzo, Alvin Anderson, Arvin Norman, Willie Bee, Sarah Elizabeth, Lula Jackson and Flora Ethel. She died at the age of 88 on March 3rd, 1967.-
