His paternal grandparents were Samuel Moss and Elizabeth Smith. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Newton Foote Neale, Samuel Martin, William T., John H. W., Margaret Elizabeth, Emily Jane, Parmelia Ann, Hettie Frances, Sarah Catherine, Mary Elizabeth, Ellen Tennessee and Nancy M.. He died at the age of 64 on September 4th, 1905 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Martin-Moss Cemetery, (Hickman Co.), Tennessee.1 -
