Nancy M. was born in Bedford Co., Tennessee. Nancy M.'s father was James H. Moss CSA and her mother was Sarah H. Fisher. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Moss and Elizabeth Smith. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas James Fletcher, Newton Foote Neale, Samuel Martin, William T., John H. W., Margaret Elizabeth, Emily Jane, Parmelia Ann, Hettie Frances, Sarah Catherine, Mary Elizabeth and Ellen Tennessee. She died in 1840 in Hickman Co., Tennessee.General Notes
According to the 1860 census she was age 20 and living with parents.
