Pearl York

Pearl was born in April 1893 in Rabun Co., GA.¹ Pearl's father was James C. York and her mother was Valentine Canup. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Van Buren York and Sarah Ann Hopper. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry M., Halena and Ora. She was the second youngest of the four children.¹
