Halena York

Halena was born in March 1891 in Rabun Co., GA.¹ Halena's father was James C. York and her mother was Valentine Canup. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Van Buren York and Sarah Ann Hopper. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry M., Pearl and Ora. She was the second oldest of the four children.¹
