Margaret Allison was born on April 29th, 1810 in Orange Co., N. C..1 Margaret Allison's father was Samuel R. Woods and her mother was Elizabeth Woods. Her paternal grandparents were John Woods and Anne Louey Mebane; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Woods and Mary Dunnegan. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Hugh, Samuel R., Jane M., Mary Ann and Susan Faucette. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers named Joseph A., John A. and David. She died at the age of 78 on January 28th, 1889 in Orange Co., N. C..1 -
