Joseph A. Woods 
Joseph A. was born in 1789.1 Joseph A.'s father was Samuel R. Woods and his mother was Jennet Allison. His paternal grandparents were John Woods and Anne Louey Mebane; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Allison and Elizabeth Alecona Ray. He had two brothers named John A. and David. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Hugh, Samuel R., Jane M., Mary Ann, Margaret Allison and Susan Faucette.1 -
