Willie Welty

Willie was born on May 2nd, 1878.¹   Willie's father was Joseph S Welty and his mother was Martha Elizabeth Smith.  His paternal grandparents were John C Welty and Elizabeth Hauff. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Billie, Charles Franklin, John Wesley, Margaret S, Anna E, Mary Jane, Gipsey Unora, Fannie M and Sallie Texana.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Samuel A, Sarah E and Martha J.  He died on May 2nd, 1878.¹
