Rachel Van Valkenburg

Rachel was born about 1775 and her baptism took place on June 3rd, 1775 in Kinderhook, Columbia, NY.¹ Rachel's father was Bartholomew Van Valkenburg. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Van Valkenburg. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Joachem, Barent, Isaac, Cornelia, Gertruy and Anje. She was the oldest of the eight children. Rachel is no longer alive.¹
