Barent Van Valkenburg

Barent was born about 1790 and his baptism took place on July 18th, 1790 in Claverack, Columbia, NY.¹ Barent's father was Bartholomew Van Valkenburg. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Van Valkenburg. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Joachem, Isaac, Rachel, Cornelia, Gertruy and Anje. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died about 1791.¹
