Gertruy Van Valkenburg

Gertruy was born about 1780 and her baptism took place on September 4th, 1780 in Kinderhook, Columbia, NY.¹ Gertruy's father was Bartholomew Van Valkenburg. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Van Valkenburg. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Joachem, Barent, Isaac, Rachel, Cornelia and Anje. She was the third oldest of the eight children. Gertruy is no longer alive.¹
