Samuel Joseph was born in 1860 in Cvngtn. Ms.1 Samuel Joseph's father was Joseph Turnbow and his mother was Rebecca Cole George. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Turnbow and Margaret Tallkitten (Talk. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Pleasant Childers, Nathaniel Nephi, George Washington, John Lexington, Henry Jefferson, Stephen Monroe, Susan Margarete, Emma Jane, Martha Ann and Nancy Kezia. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.1 -
