Pleasant Childers Turnbow

Pleasant Childers was born on July 22nd, 1842 in Tuscaloose, Jus, AL.¹ Pleasant Childers' father was Joseph Turnbow and his mother was Rebecca Cole George. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Turnbow and Margaret Tallkitten (Talk. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel Nephi, George Washington, John Lexington, Henry Jefferson, Samuel Joseph, Stephen Monroe, Susan Margarete, Emma Jane, Martha Ann and Nancy Kezia. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 83 on March 16th, 1926 in Cedar City, Iron, UT. He was buried on March 18th, 1926 in Beaver, Beaver, UT.¹¹
