Nathaniel Nephi was born about 1843 in Tscls, AL.1 Nathaniel Nephi's father was Joseph Turnbow and his mother was Rebecca Cole George. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Turnbow and Margaret Tallkitten (Talk. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Pleasant Childers, George Washington, John Lexington, Henry Jefferson, Samuel Joseph, Stephen Monroe, Susan Margarete, Emma Jane, Martha Ann and Nancy Kezia. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.1 -
